Poverty and Education in America
The education in America is facing many crises and one of
them is regarding the poverty. Poverty affects our education, our economy, and our future.
In the searches of Google on the educational
problems we can see a lot of information, reviews and the news revealing crisis
in the educational system of America. It is difficult to disagree to what poverty
has no influence on education. Also it is difficult to say children in poverty coming
to school outsourced and untrained teaching stuff.
In fact, a recent research publication from
the Southern Education Foundation highlights that, as of this year, the
majority of public school children come from poverty. According to the
bulletin,
The latest data collected from the states by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), shows more than 55 percent of the students across the nation’s public schools were low income.
In
more than 40 states, low income students comprised no less than 40% of all public
schoolchildren. The students, in almost
half of the states of America, able for without or cheap-cost meals.
About
55 percent of our children across the country now live in poverty, and the
numbers appear to be growing.
